greetings
Sorry, forgot to commit the local changes.
When i “pull” from your github, it still says it’s up to date, and my github is cloned from your 2409 version…
Thank you fro your extraordinary work. Will update OSX binary in few hours, as soon as I finished the damned final…
Thanks 🙂
taro what is up with your download links mate ? i been trying to download r2431 for weeks. just keeps taking me to a page with a bunch of letters/numbers, no link to the binaries at all mate, please help

Is it possible to get another download link? for some reason when I download from the above link it always corrupts after downloading 1MB. It doesn’t even show me max file size.
Never happened to me before, tried multiple browsers and download managers, not working.
amazing! thanks a lot Taro.
@Ace ET
Right click – save link as… works for me.
the commit c69a006 in github/bitbucket has been deleted?
i want rebuild from git with the commit like a tmod official release
To keep the official version number xxxx+xxx, I usually rebase the current tMod on top of official plain codes, so the old commits might be deleted. c69a006 has been just re-pushed for a minor update on unicode file name support. If not for testing reason, just use the latest codes. Nothing else changed, and I was just too lazy to build newer binaries for this update.
@Tritech you have to save the file on your hdd instead of opening the archive in the brower’s window
while using –sub option if i add –fps then the encoder crashes. is there any problem with it?? Same was for ver 2409 as well.
Yes, a known bug. To be fixed somewhile later.
There has been an update of x264. Any idea of when you intend (at least) to update git repository ?
Otherwise, thanks for the work already done.
If with turtoise git, i create a patch from commit “audio support”, resulting in 149 patch files. Do i have all the necessary patches to re-create the t_mod version from original x264 branch ? If not, how can i do it ? Thanks.
I think i’ve been able to find out the right things. Creating a patch from “plain/official” seems to be the solution, resulting in 42 patch files.
jpsdr, it would be great if you could post your patched versions.
https://github.com/jpsdr/x264
t_mod_Custom branch.
Or… do you want compiled versions ? (I’ve not finished doing them).
PS :
anonx : Your post is from 29th, but i’ve not seen it until now. Strange ! I’ve looked here each days….
Hi
Just to say, not the same revision on the git and on the bucket.
cheers
Just add a build on my github : https://github.com/jpsdr/x264/releases
Are you sure that’s r2453? It’s reporting a much older copy in MediaInfo.
Thank you for this great build of x264. I was wondering if you can add a patch to prevent the computer from going to sleep while in the middle of encoding. More information can be found here https://www.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=169713
Thank you!
Note: I accidentally posted this comment to an old build, when I meant to originally post it here all along.
No, sorry, i don’t have the skills and i’m not interested by it.
Any chance for 2491 update?

I’ve put a build of t_mod r2525 : https://github.com/jpsdr/x264/releases for those interested.
@ jpsdr thanks for taking the time to compile your builds mate, they encode flawlessly, taro seems to be to busy with his marriage these days to have time for virtual world lol i checked on your build of r2491 last month, but i didn’t see it. do you have a link to your old builds as well mate ? or do you remove them permanently when you release a new build ? i have your build of r2453 and r2479 and now r2525 but i missed r2491. would it be possible to get r2491 as well mate ? thanks again 🙂
No, i remove permanently and don’t keep them. I’ve never made the r2491 because of several issue, and will not, sorry. But, if i remember correctly, the r2479 i’ve made allready included the VBV fixes released in the r2491.
Hello! I cannot download any binary (*.7z) file from your website. Your server seems to treat them as ascii ones ? Please check this out. Thanks.
hello, its look like i have to patch and etc to use it but i didn’t really understand about programming, can anyone theach me how to?. thanks before
With option –aq-mode 0, ( i_aq_mode, f_aq_strength) are set to (1,0).
then in function x264_adaptive_quant_frame (ratecontrol.c), OreAQ double count quant_offsets[mb_xy] in tMod 2431.
Is this a bug?
If not, should i use OreAQ with aq1?
And if you can, please teach me which version of l-smash i should use.

No great changes, but you can find r2538 at the usual place : https://github.com/jpsdr/x264/releases
Awesome! Keep it up mate.
Where can i get a list of patches used on tmod? I wish to patch the latest x264 build with these tmod patches.
